Mr Lim presently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing Pte Ltd (SAM).
Mr Lim first embarked on his career path with SAM as Regional Sales Manager on 22nd August 1991. He has then progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including Head of Sales & Contracts in 1994, Vice President of Marketing in 2007 and General Manager of Avitron Pte Ltd in 2017. Since 1 December 2019, Mr Lim has served as the Vice President of Aerospace, SAM Group, concurrently holding the role of Chief Executive Officer at SAM Engineering and Equipment (M) Berhad since 1 January 2022.
Prior to his tenure at SAM, Mr Lim gained invaluable experience serving in the Singapore Air Force and Hewlett Packard.
Mr Lim graduated with first-class honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Queen’s University of Belfast, UK and subsequently went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester, UK.
